Sanctuary Horses
Happy, a senior mule, came to CVHR in September 2023 when her elderly owner could no longer keep her due to the sale of his farm. Happy has spent her life with a single owner and took some time to adjust to herd life at the rescue farm. Happy is currently quite content with her mini horse friends and she becomes distressed when separated from them. Due to her age and cushings diagnosis, we have provided sanctuary status to Happy so that she can live out the remainder of her days teaching volunteers and visitors “how to mule.”
Breed: Mule
Age: 1998
Gender: Mare
Height: 15
Current Status: Sanctuary
