Mireya, a chestnut mare with a rich, glowing coat and a gentle spirit, is currently in the loving hands of rehabilitation at CVHR. With a brief racing history that revealed her lack of passion for the sport—coming in last in her two races—Mireya's true calling seems to be as a companion, seeking out the affection and camaraderie of our farm volunteers. Her super sweet personality shines through in every nuzzle and tender moment shared, endearing her to everyone who walks through our gates. Now, away from the racetrack, Mireya is finding her stride in a peaceful life filled with care and connection.
