Pops is a senior, retired Morgan gelding who came to CVHR in the summer of 2022 with his companion Rocky who has since passed away. Pops was provided sanctuary status when the pair was surrendered due to the death of Rocky’s owner. Pops was once ridden in dressage shows around northern Virginia and now he is living the best retired life teaching new to horse people about horses and horsemanship at the rescue’s farm.
